More Than 30 Summit Restaurants, Shops to Participate in 8th Annual Restaurant Week

SUMMIT, NJ - Summit Downtown, Inc. is hosting Summit’s 8th Annual Restaurant Week February 19 through 28 to celebrate all the wonderful restaurants and food establishments in downtown Summit.

A continually updated list of participating restaurants and food shops is available on summitdowntown.org. Over 30 restaurants and food shops are participating with $20.16 prix fixe menus, special discounts and more.

The Bombay Bistro, Fiorino Ristorante, Food., La Pastaria, Manhattan Bagel, The Meat House, Negeen Persian Grill, The Office Tavern Grill, Roots Steakhouse, Summit Thai Cuisine, Tito’s Burritos and Wings, Winberie’s, Zappia’s Brick Oven, and Zappia’s Deli will all feature special prix fixe menus.

Ahrre’s Coffee Roastery, Batavia Café, Beechwood Wine and Liquor, Doria’s Pizzeria, DUE 360, Dunkin Donuts, Marigolds, Peppercorn, Rosalita Mexican, Saimona Wine and Liquor, Starbucks, Summit Diner, Summit Greek Grill, Summit Wine List, Sweet Nothings, Village Trattoria, and 16 Handles will all feature special discounts or freebies.

The Office Tavern Grill is featuring a Colorado Road Trip menu with delicious options like a Bison Burger, Coffee- Rubbed Rack of Lamb, and Stout Chocolate Cheesecake. Winberie’s special menu includes three courses ranging from a Spinach and Ricotta Pizzetta to Brisket Burgundy to a Girl Scout Cookie Parfait and drink specials. Food.’s prix fixe menu includes drool-worthy options like Chorizo Mac n’ Cheese, Sweet and Spicy Shrimp in a sweet chili sauce, and Grilled Nutella.

If you’re looking to eat lunch out, Roots Steakhouse is offering a two-course $20.16 prix fixe lunch menu including their 8 oz. local grass-fed burger and truffle pommes frites. Fiorino Ristorante is featuring a three-course prix fixe menu for both lunch and dinner including a Raw Sunchoke and Baby Arugula Salad, Pappardelle Bolognese, Steamed Red Snapper, and Chocolate Panettone Bread Pudding. At Zappia’s Delicatessen, you can get two sandwiches, two 20 oz. drinks, two bags of chips, and two cookies for just $20.16.

Summit Downtown, Inc. will be sponsoring a Restaurant Week Photo Contest. Snap a picture of your delicious food at a participating establishment during Restaurant Week and email it to sdiphotocontest@gmail.com by March 1 for a chance to win $100. You must include your name, where the photo was taken, and a brief description. All photos will be posted on the Summit Downtown, Inc. Facebook Page. There will be two winners. Downtown photographer Peter, of Peter Wallburg Studios, will choose the Best in Show winner. The photo with the most likes on Facebook will also win $100. Limit of three entries per person.
