Legends Gallery of Chatham NJ is proud to present an in store autograph signing appearance by Super Bowl XLVI Champion, and 2 time Super Bowl MVP - New York Giants, Eli Manning.

On Monday September 24, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Super Bowl Champion Eli Manning will be signing autographs at Chatham’s premier sports collectibles store Legends Gallery.

Eli Manning is the son of former NFL quarterback Archie, and younger brother of The Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton. His college playing days were at Ole Miss, and he was drafted number one over all in 2004 by the San Diego Chargers. Eli was immediately traded to the New York Giants where he remains today as one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks.

Eli’s placement in NFL history is pretty well set as he is a 2 time Super Bowl Champion and a 2 time Super Bowl MVP. He holds countless NFL records, here are a few:

·  NFL Record most 4th quarter touchdown passes in a season (15)

·  Tied NFL Record longest pass completion and touchdown (99 yards)

·  NFL Record most road playoff wins by a quarterback (5)

·  Tied NFL Record most game-winning drives in a season (8)

·  Most road wins in a single regular season and postseason by a starting quarterback (10)

·  Most passing yards in a single postseason (1219 yards)

Eli is also ½ responsible  for one of the most unbelievable plays in Super Bowl history. With less than 2 minutes left in Super Bowl XLII, Eli Manning narrowly escapes the pass rush of the New England Patriots defense. As Eli breaks away, he looks down field and sees David Tyree breaking free and throws the ball. Against all odds, Tyree leaps in the air and grabs the ball over his head. On his way down he secures the ball on his helmet and makes the completion, keeping the last minute drive alive.

Four plays later Eli through the game winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Plaxico Burress earning Eli his first Super Bowl victory.

Legends Gallery is excited to host Eli Manning’s FIRST public autograph signing appearance since winning Super Bowl XLVI. Previous athletes who have appeared at Legends Gallery are; NY Giants Mark Bavaro, N.Y. Jets Shone Greene, and former Giant Steve Smith, and other Super Bowl XLVI winners Victor Cruz, and Jason Pierre-Paul.
