No Surprises in Primaries for Chatham Candidates Running on Respective Tickets in November

CHATHAM, NJ - There were no surprises in the Chathams on Tuesday when primary voters went to the polls to determine matchups for the November elections.

In Chatham Borough, Republican incumbents Peter Hoffman and Len Resto will face Democrat challengers Jill Strickler and Carolyn Dempsey for the two seats available on the Borough of Chatham Council.

In Chatham Township, Republican incumbent Kevin Sullivan will face Democrat challenger Tracy Ness for the one available seat on the Chatham Township Committee.

Chatham Township resident Shala Gagliardi will run on the Democratic ticket for Morris County Clerk.

In Chatham's 11th Congressional District, Democrat Mikie Sherrill will face off with Republican Jay Webber, a former Chatham resident, for the seat being relinquished by Rodney Frelinghuysen, who is retiring.
