Oak Knoll Varsity Field Hockey Claims First Ever Tournament of Champions Victory and Completes Undefeated Season

On November 21, Oak Knoll School of Summit completed its 28-0 undefeated season by defeating long-time powerhouse Eastern 4-2 in the Tournament of Champions held at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. This was the first-ever Tournament of Champions victory for the school.

Chatham Township resident and Oak Knoll junior Maggie Blackwood registered a season-high 12 saves in the victory, which was led by a three goal performance by Oak Knoll freshman and Madison resident Ryan McCarthy.

According to www.topofthecircle.com, this victory propelled Oak Knoll to the #2 ranking in the nation.
