ROCKAWAY, NJ - Senior Adam Oare set a personal record in the discus for the fifth time this season, making a throw of 148 feet that earned him second place on Day 1 of the Large School Division of the NJAC boys track meet held Tuesday at Morris Hills High.

Oare's second-best throw of 146 feet, 2 inches broke a tie for third place with the thrower from Pope John and elevated him to second place.

Chatham's Thomas Walsh tied for third place in the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 10 inches, which equaled his person best in the event.

In the 1,600-meter run, Cougar Colin Logsdon placed fourth, running a personal-best time of 4:21.7. Chatham senior Jaylen Haye was sixth in the intermediate hurdles in a season-best time of 58.36.
