CHATHAM, NJ - The first sign that it was going to be a good day for the Chatham girls soccer team came in the seventh minute of action.

Sophie Straka won a ball at the end line and cut it back to Jen Olnowich, who finished her chance for the early lead in the Morris County Tournament preliminary game against Dover at Haas Field.

By the end of the game, Chatham was feeling good about its 5-0 win, capped by the first two career goals off the foot of junior Lizzie O'Neill.

Chatham (3-3-1) took a 2-0 lead in the 53rd minute when freshman Audrey Van Wie made a move into the box and placed the ball into the far side of the net for a 2-0 lead (see the video below).

Straka did all the work for her unassisted goal, winning a challenge and breaking in on goal. The sophomore froze the keeper on her line before pushing her shot into the right corner, making it 3-0 game in the 65th minute.

O'Neill came off the bench to turn the game into a rout with the first two goals of her career. Grace Van Sciver sent the ball to O'Neill at the top of the penalty area, where she fired and scored.

O'Neill followed up with a run into the box, the sidestep of a defender and a neatly placed roller that tucked inside the far post.
