Panagakos and Shehadi Win High Jump Relay Title for Chatham at Dodgertown Relays

MADISON, NJ - Melina Panagakos and Julia Shehadi combined to clear 9 feet, 6 inches in winning the high jump for Chatham at the Dodgertown Relays held Saturday at Madison High.

Panagakos jumped 4-10 in the high jump and also ran on Chatham's third-place 4x200 relay team and on the 4x400 relay that placed fourth.

Chatham's shot put relay team of Cat Madden, who threw 31 feet, 4 inches, and Christine Madden, who tossed the shot 27 feet, 4 inches, combined to place second with a combined distance of 58 feet, 8 inches.

Christine Madden, Cat Madden, and Kimmy Tomaino placed third in the discus relay with a combined distance of 207 feet, 8 inches.

Chatham's 4x200 team of Julia Shehadi, Katie Helman, Melina Panagakos and Katie Helman, placed third in 1:50.71. The 4x400 team of Katie Helman, Melina Panagakos, Katie Caracciolo, Leila Kirton finished fourth in 4:19.76.

Chatham's 4x100 team consisting of Julia Shehadi, Maya Lee, Julia Piness, Katie Caracciolo placed fifth in 53.17.

Other Chatham highlights included:

5th: 4x800 - team consisting of Micah McGrath, Anna Van Wie, Caitriona Logsdon, Cameron Bresnahan

6th: Sprint Medley Relay - team consisting of Sophia Lally, Lauren, Clark, Kierra Oare, Anya D'Costa

6th: Long Jump - -team consisting of Maya Lee and Anya D'Costa

Chatham JV Results:

2nd: Shot Put - team consisting of Kimmy Tomaino and Elizabeth Murray

3rd: 4x200 - team consisting of Kierra Oare, Christina Yampaglia, Julia Piness, Maya Lee

6th: 4x800 - team consisting of Albane Marion, Eve McBride, Aidan Walsh, and Stephanie Mahon
