Peapack-Gladstone Bank Presents Free First-Time Homebuyers Seminar – in Spanish

Buying a home is a challenging time; and for first-time homebuyers, the process can present many obstacles as well as added expenses.  The key to making the home buying process easier and more understandable is clear information.  To assist those seeking to fulfill the American dream, Peapack-Gladstone Bank has teamed up with the Central Jersey Housing Resource Center in sponsoring a free seminar for first-time homebuyers, given entirely in Spanish.  Scheduled for Sunday, October 14, this program will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peapack-Gladstone Bank’s Bridgewater branch located at 619 East Main Street Bridgewater, NJ.

The Step-by-Step Spanish Homebuyers Seminar is just the tool you need to learn the basics and get started on the path to home ownership. Bilingual program speakers will outline everything you need to know and do as a first-time homebuyer discussing topics such as affordable housing options in Somerset County, special grant programs, home inspections, home evaluation, credit and credit reports, debt and budgeting.  Additional topics will also include how to obtain a mortgage loan, closing costs, your real estate agent’s responsibilities and homeowner’s insurance.

Participants who attend the full program will also receive a certificate providing them access to benefits such as lower mortgage rates, reduced legal fees and special grant programs to help with closing costs and down payments.
