Sullivan Most Qualified for Chatham Township

To the Editor,

As long term residents of Chatham Township, we have had the opportunity to observeand evaluate the perspectives and agendas of the various candidates in previous  elections and have seen firsthand the actions of those that have served our community.

We have been fortunate to work closely with Kevin Sullivan on a number of community initiatives and have come to know him as an individual with strong integrity, who is trustworthy and approachable. Kevin’s honest, pragmatic and hopeful insight into our community’s needs, and his willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns, clearly sets him apart from others and makes him the most qualified candidate for Chatham Township Committee.

Kevin’s track record speaks for itself. In 2014 and 2015 taxes in Chatham Township were not increased. Under Kevin’s leadership, Chatham Township was able to secure a $10 million dollar grant for open space purchase of the Giralda Farms Preserve at NO expense to the taxpayers as well as crafting and introducing the first municipal land ordinance in New Jersey to oppose Pilgrim Pipeline and all unregulated pipelines that could pass through our community. We have all benefited from the improvements Kevin spearheaded to our roads and sewage infrastructure and are proud of our 2014 and 2015 ranking as “the safest town in New Jersey”.

Please join us in keeping Chatham Township the great community it is by re-electing Kevin Sullivan to Chatham Township Committee.

Respectfully submitted,

Dave and JoAnne Babbitt

Mike Czech – One of Chatham’s Hidden Gems….

On a warm sunny day, back in 2008, at Southern Boulevard Elementary School stood a very tall man (6.5” to be exact!), soft-spoken, warm and friendly as he was surrounded by a whole group of children running around him (at his knees).

His name was Mike Czech and he was teaching the kids how to play a game on the open court.   I introduced myself to help assist him as a fellow ...
