Summit Restaurant Week Served Up Feb. 22 - Mar. 8; Instagram Photo Contest New for 2015 Event


SUMMIT, NJ - The Seventh Annual Restaurant Week in Downtown Summit is set for February 20 through March 8, with thirty-five restaurants and food establishments offering special menu items, prix fixe meals, special discounts, and more.  

Sponsored by Summit Downtown, Inc., the event will showcase a continually-updated list of participating restaurants, available on SDI’s website.

For the first time, SDI will be sponsoring an Instagram photo contest, where patrons visiting participating food establishments are encouraged to document their experience with some creative photography.

Any photograph taken at a participating establishment -- and posted to Instagram with the hashtag “summitrestaurantweek” (#summitrestaurantweek) -- will be entered.  All entries must be posted by March 10.  The entry with the most likes will win the People’s Choice Award and a $50 Summit Gift Certificate.  

Peter Wallburg of Peter Wallburg Studios will serve as judge to pick the winner of Best in Show.  The winner will be awarded a free photography session with an 8” x 10” print from Peter Wallburg Studios -- a $300 value -- in addition to a $50 Summit Gift Certificate.  

Winners will receive a direct message on Instagram with instructions on how to claim their prize.
