Super Sandwiches and Salads from Deli King of Linden Gurarantee a Super Super Bowl Party

First off, let me say, that Deli King of Linden is in no way related to Deli King of Clark. According to proprietor Eddie Levy, Deli King of Linden is one of the oldest Kosher delis in the State of New Jersey.

Levy also owns the upscale catering company Signature Creation Caterers out of Linden. Well known and respected throughout our state, Signature Creation Caterers is a major off-premise caterer affiliated with most of the Synagogues throughout New Jersey.

A walk through Levy’s warehouse is like a walk through an entire block devoted to kitchen magic. From dinnerware in every conceivable pattern and color, to glassware for all manner of drinks, to platters, bowls, and silverware for every occasion, you’ll find service carts and trays in every conceivable size and shape.

But with only one week to prepare for Super Bowl, the talk is not only about the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers, but about the endless flow of food that will appear throughout the entire Super  Sunday. Of course, everyone has an idea of what they are going to serve, but to be sure, make it easy on yourself, and call Eddie Levy. He’ll be happy to coordinate your Super Bowl gig.

Have fun with your plans.  Check out their menu. It allows you to choose from a full-course restaurant menu of favorite old-fashioned dishes, plus traditional deli-counter favorites, or create your own dining combos. You might start by passing trays of potato, kasha, or spinach knishes and miniature pigs in blankets. Then as the day progresses, offer steaming bowls of matzoh ball, vegetable, or mushroom and barley soup.  Guests may then graze through a chafing dish filled with stuffed cabbage, before sitting down for the main attraction.

Depending on the size of your crowd, order mile-high corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, or trays of Sloppy Joe’s filled with corned beef, pastrami, turkey, cole slaw, and Russian dressing. Include a couple of pounds of potato and health salad, and it will all arrive ready to serve.

“We offer food for any and all occasions at a moment’s notice,” continues the proprietor. "Call Anytime.  We’re open 7 days from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. We also offer Delivery Service throughout the state, including the tri-state area. Whether it’s an office party, or gathering at the end of the day, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a business meeting, just call in your order, and it will be delivered. Yes, we’ll even deliver one sandwich.”
