In its first week of operation, the Weekly Offer was opened more than twice as often as deals from Groupon and Amazon Local and the click-through rate was more than twice as high, according to statistics compiled by SurveyMonkey.com.

"Unlike annoying deals that pop up in your email relentlessly for a business an hour away from you and cost the business a fortune to do, TAP into's Weekly Offer is effective, affordable for the local business, and the subscriber only receives a maximum of one Weekly Offer per week. TAP into is all about helping our communities succeed and this is one more step in our efforts to help small business and our loyal readers at the same time," Michael Shapiro, founder of TAPinto, said.
