Terry OT Goal Lifts Chatham Over Summit, 2-1

Kelsey Terry connects in overtime for Chatham against Summit Credits: TAP Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ -  Sophomore Kelsey Terry scored late into the overtime period off a feed from Emily Walczyk to give Chatham a 2-1 girls soccer victory over Summit on Monday at Haas Field.

It was the second straight overtime game for Chatham (5-8), which took a 1-0 lead in the second half when Walczyk knocked home a pass from Kelsey Burke. But Summit scored for a 1-1 tie that forced the extra period. Casey Madura ended with 10 saves in goal for Chatham.

Chatham takes to the road Wednesday for a 7 p.m. game against county semifinalist, Randolph.
