Letters to the Editor

Thanks For Your Support!

I want to take the opportunity to thank the residents of Chatham Township for their tremendous support in the recent Republican Primary.  I heard many stories of people who got up earlier than normal to get to the polls prior to work, others who raced home to vote before the polls closed and still others who switched their party affiliation to ensure that their voice was heard.

Thanks also goes to my campaign manager Jim Connelly and Treasurer Ashim Gulati for their help and assistance over the course of the campaign. I also want to give special thanks to my wife, Jen, for her support and to my children, Will, Mollie and Grace who were also involved in the campaign, from posting yard signs to canvassing the various neighborhoods around the Township.

As we look towards November I want to continue to hear your thoughts on how together we can ‘Build a Better Chatham.’  Please visit my website   and ‘Like Me’ on Facebook at

Spending More Per Pupil Doesn’t Guarantee Additional or Enhanced Success

April 20, 2018

Dear Editor:

At the April 16th Board of Education meeting, Board member Sal Arnuk stated: “I am ashamed to see the district at the bottom of the list in per-pupil spending.”  On the contrary, Board member Arnuk should be exceedingly proud of how our Board of Education is able to consistently be ranked as the top school district in our state at the cost it currently spends per ...
