The Sierra Club invites you to come and hear Barbara McCloskey talk about the work of The Land Conservancy of New Jersey - preserving
open space land and water resources throughout the state. She will discuss how the Conservancy works with municipalities, counties, farmers and homeowners to provide assistance with planning, mapping, advising and preservation of their land. The Conservancy provides the expertise, tools and resources to help bring land projects to a successful conclusion.
She will also cover how Partners for Parks, the Conservancy’s stewardship program, puts teams of volunteers from corporations and civic groups to work on community service projects at state, county and local parks.
The meeting is Wednesday, January 12 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm at The Library of The Chathams, 214 Main St., Chatham, NJ. There is no admission fee and the public is invited to attend.  For more information, call 908-233-2414.
