CHATHAM, NJ - Mets fans keep coming back.
At least when it comes to Legends Gallery on Main Street in Chatham, where Mets pitching ace Noah "Thor" Syndergaard signed autographs and posed for photos for Mets fans on Wednesday evening.
Eight months earlier, Mets fans had shown up in Chatham for photos and autographs with former first baseman Keith Hernandez.
A number of same Mets fans made a return visit, including the Frey family of Chatham. Charlie Frey, 13, got his photo taken with Syndergaard and an autographed picture while his parents, Laura and Rob, looked on. They were also among the first to arrive last November when Hernandez came to Chatham.
Antonio Cunha came from Woodbridge to see Syndergaard and was the first in line with his daughter, Mariah, and her friend, Sean. They were first in line, arriving three hours before the scheduled arrival of Mets pitcher.
