View and Discuss Food, Inc., February 9th

The Sierra Club presents Jeff Huppert, NJ Sierra Club Education Coordinator who will show the movie Food, Inc.  The movie is an exposee of America's industrialized food system and its effect on our environment, health, economy and workers' rights. See the effects of factory farming and the use of antibiotics on animals that we eat, their relationship to recent outbreaks of E.coli, and the effects of using pesticides and genetically altered plants and animals.
 
Come see this informative movie. A discussion will follow!
 
The meeting is Wednesday, February 9 from 7:30pm to 9pm at The Library of the Chathams, 214 Main St., Chatham. Attendance is free and open to the public.  For more information, call 908-233-2414.
