Water Main Break Forces Closure of Chatham High for Tuesday, Jan. 5

CHATHAM, NJ - Due to a water main break at the intersection of Longwood and Lafayette avenues, Chatham High School is closed on Tuesday, Jan. 5.

All other district schools remain open, but the police have advised drivers to avoid the area near Longwood and Lafayette.

The water main break on Lafayette Avenue was fixed by the afternoon. Water and heat are back on in the high school.  All athletics, intramurals, and play practice were cleared to go on Tuesday afternoon as scheduled.
