CHATHAM, NJ – Fifty years ago, Jim Weichert set out with an innovative approach “people buy people before they buy your product or service” upon opening the first of the company’s many real estate offices in Chatham back in 1969.

It is a philosophy that continues to drive the realtor’s success in the industry as the largest family-owned real estate company

A customized strategy is developed for each client -- whether a buyer or seller -- and that first stage of the process starts by identifying their needs and timeline. The Weichert team prides itself on transparency throughout the process and involving the client every step of the way, including a cohesive briefing about the marketing strategy for how the home will be sold. That process starts with a thorough walkthrough of the home and an appraisal to determine the valuation and selling expectations.
