Children in the MiniQuest Specialty Camps at the Madison Area YMCA conducted a science experiment using only aluminum foil to design and build boats. The challenge was to craft a boat that could float while holding five pennies and a few marbles. As an extra challenge, magnets were added for even more weight. The kids had so much fun building and modifying their boats to hold as much weight as possible. It was interesting to see all the campers' innovative designs!

The Madison Area YMCA is excited to welcome our campers each week as we provide them with a safe, healthy and fun-filled summer outdoors! Want to join the fun? There is limited availability for all campers from preschool to grade 11 for August.
