"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" fundraiser performance July 28 and 29

The cast of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" will perform at the New Providence Recreation Center (360 Elkwood Ave and Academy St.) on July 28 and July 29 Credits: Sandra Nissen

No Drama Theater is proud to present the family-friendly musical, "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," based on the beloved Peanuts comic strip. Performances will be Friday, July 28 at 7:30 pm and Saturday July 29 at 2:00pm and 7:30 pm and will be held at the New Providence Recreation Center, 360 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence, NJ (entrance is on Academy St.) Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at or at the door before each performance. Tickets purchased at the door will be cash only.

This production is a fundraiser for New Providence Public Art in memory of its founder, Marjan Saniee.  All proceeds will be donated to NP Public Art to fund a new sculpture installation.

There will be free ice pops and balloons to audience members at the end of each show. A lucky ticket holder at each performance will also win Peanuts merchandise, such as a large Snoopy (Friday), a production t-shirt (Saturday Matinee) and Peanuts character figurines (Saturday Evening). T-shirts, figurines and other memorabilia will also be offered for sale at each performance. A donation box for the NP Public Art will also be available.

Community high schoolers and recent New Providence High School Class of 2017 grads are also donating their talents behind the scenes to choreograph, run sound and lights, music direct and more!  

Directed by John Ertman the cast includes Jack Nissen, Katherine Ertman, Will Nissen Henrik Harman, Olivia Haas, and Elizabeth Bigham of New Providence along with Grace Petersen of Chatham and Dexter Kennedy of Springfield.
