Chatham Sweeps to Tennis Victory over Parsippany Hills

Bridgette Hickey and Sophia Fredriksson swept their singles matches for Chatham on Tuesday against Parsippany Hills Credits: TAP Chatham

CHATHAM, NJ - First singles player Scarlett Blydenburg, second singles Sophia Fredriksson and third singles Bridgette Hickey all won their matches in straight sets as Chatham defeated Parsippany Hills, 5-0, on Tuesday at the Colony Tennis Courts.

Blydenburg rolled 6-0, 6-0 over Catherine Mow, while Fredriksson won over Nina Lyow and Hickey defeated Roma Desai by matching Blydenburg with 6-0, 6-0 shutouts.

Chatham only dropped two games on the entire day as the first doubles team of Alison Ramsland and Emily Sroczynski toppped Sapana Gupta and Carissa Ganihong of Parsippany Hills, 6-0, 6-1. In second doubles, the Chatham duo of Katie Howard-Johnson and Lauren Hickey won over Aryna Lysak and Rianna Modi, 6-0, 6-1.
