On February 9, 2019, Officer Matthew Belcastro arrested Soha Salleem, age 22, from Basking Ridge, New Jersey for driving while intoxicated. Officer Belcastro observed the vehicle driven by Soha Salleem weaving within the traffic lane on Main Street and initiated a motor vehicle stop. The officer spoke with Ms. Salleem and conducted a series of balance tests. She was then placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. Ms. Salleem was administered a breath test and issued seven motor vehicle summonses for the following infractions. Driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, failing to maintain the lane of travel, failing to possess an insurance verification card and failing to possess a driver’s license. She was later released into the care of a relative pending a court appearance.

  • On February 11, 2019, Officer Andrew Pereira arrested Juseg Reynoso, age 32, from Brooklyn, New York on an active contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipality of Riverdale. Officer Pereira was investigating an incident involving Mr. Reynoso and a customary check uncovered the warrant. Mr. Reynoso was transported to police headquarters for processing. He posted bail and was released.
  • On February 13, 2019, Officer Agnes Cisek arrested Max Beekmann, age 45, from Jersey City, New Jersey on an active contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipality of Chatham Borough. Officer Cisek conducted a random license plate check, uncovered the warrant and initiated a motor vehicle stop. Mr. Beekmann was transported to police headquarters, posted bail and was released.

All persons charged with an offense are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
