After the storm of the Annual Friends’ Book Sale (no, not the snowstorm), the library is returning to relative peace and quiet.  The sale continues with Bag Sale ($8 for a large bag of books) on Monday, Tuesday, and until most books are sold.

Income Tax Assistance

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is held on Wednesdays, February 7 to April 11 from 10 am to 2 pm.  Appointments for this free service may be made in person or by calling the library at 973-635-0603.  Please bring all your financial records from 2017, copies of your 2016 Federal and State tax returns, photo ID, and all printed and blank forms from the Internal Revenue Service.

Stitch a Peter Rabbit with Miss Polly – 4 to 5 pm

Miss Carol Dance – 10 or 10:45 am

For preschoolers and their caregivers

Miss Carol introduces basic movement to music in a fun and loving atmosphere.

FRIDAY, MARCH 16

Italian Conversation Group – 1 pm

Are you a bit rusty with your Italian language skills?  Native speaker Luciana Santoriello moderates an Italian discussion group every third Friday of the month.

SATURDAY, MARCH 17

Chess Mates – 2 to 4 pm

Ages 6 & Up                Limit:  12 children

Registration opens on Monday, March 12

Join Ryan and Darren, members of the Chatham High School Chess Club, for an afternoon of chess!  They will help beginners learn how to play.  All skill levels welcome.

Chatham's Meghan LeMon Awarded Degree from Miami University in Ohio

OXFORD, OH -- Meghan LeMon of Chatham was among more than 3,900 students from Miami University who received degrees during spring commencement exercises Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Millett Hall.

LeMon graduated MAGNA with a BA degree, majoring in Speech Path & Audiology.

Considered one of eight original "Public Ivies" in the country, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio.
