The takeout service will not be available on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day).  Starting on September 13, Library Takeout will have additional pickup hours on Sundays from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

While there is no Library Update this week due to the holiday closing, you can read the recent LETTER FROM THE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES about the library’s reopening plan.

Library Takeout Service Is Open

While the library is still closed to the public, you can request books and movies online or by phone and pick them up in the back foyer of the library.  The hours for pickup have been extended – click on the link above for hours and all the details.

Chess for Kids with Sean Finn

Registration for the fall series of Chess for Kids Online continues.  Classes will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays for six weeks, from September 14 to October 20 (different groups on different days).  Click on the heading for group descriptions and to register.  Chatham Borough and Township residents only.  There are a few spots left.

Preparing for Extended Care with Brian Cody, CFP

Wednesday, September 9 – 7 pm

Brian Cody, a Certified Financial Planner from SOFA (Society for Financial Awareness), will present a free online webinar explaining extended care.  Several important factors will be discussed including what is extended care, who pays for extended care, who may need extended or long-term care insurance, and how Medicaid or Medicare apply to long-term care.
