What's making news in Newark right now? The all-new, NICO Kitchen + Bar at New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Serving lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner nightly (except Sunday!)
Replacing the former Theater Square Grill, NICO presents food that is fresh inspired, and offers free parking with validation (not in conjunction with any NJPAC performance).
The NICO Kitchen + Bar concept comes from celebrated Chef Ryan DePersio of Fascino and Bar Cara fame. (Montclair/Bloomfield, NJ). He has unveiled an exciting, on-trend, shared plates dinner menu and an equally appealing lunch menu (think tapas with Contemporary American and Italian leanings). NICO also offers a fun Happy Hour with crafted cocktails and specially priced "bites."
A value-priced, three-course, traditional, prix-fixe menu is available on performance nights and matinees.
