Downtown Concert Series: Mama D & The Vexations

On Friday, August 10th from 6-8pm the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (METC) and the Madison Downtown Development Commission invite guests to the fourth concert in the Downtown Concert Series, featuring Mama D & the Vexations. Mama D & The Vexations is a high-energy cover band with a soulful edge based in Morristown, NJ. Their rendition of hits from the 60s through today keeps the crowd moving all night long, always chanting "One More Song!" The band features Donna Ward on vocals (Chatham, NJ), Nick Malishchak on guitar (Madison, NJ), Jasmine Bloch-Krempels on bass guitar (Orange, NJ), and John Holmok on drums (South Orange, NJ). All band members are music educators, teaching public school and private lessons in Morris and Essex Counties. The Downtown Concert Series -- six FREE Friday evening, family-friendly concerts--is held outside on the lawn of the Museum where picnicking is encouraged! Events are held rain or shine.

On July 31, 2018, at 12:26 a.m., Officer Matthew Belcastro, assisted by Officer Wayne Shivers, arrested Sean Reidy, age 53 from Chatham Borough, New Jersey for possession of drug paraphernalia.
