SUCCASUNNA, NJ - The Chatham High Marching Band opened its competitive season by taking second place in Group A at the Roxbury High Classic on Saturday night.

The CHS Marching Band, under the direction of Brian Conti, is presenting its show "Through the Ages", led by drum major McKenzie Golden.

"The performance dazzled the crowd and included 8-foot towers that demonstrate the theme from the Ice Age through the future," Conti said. "Props, flags, sabres, sound effects and intricate visuals from band and guard members add to the show's appeal along with outstanding precision from the pitted drum line."
