CHATHAM, NJ - Shopping for Mother's Day Gifts and supporting local Chatham businesses has been made easier by the "Keep Chatham Thriving" campaign.
Shoppers can get a virtual tour of Chatham shops so that they can do their Mother's Day shopping from the safety of their home.
"In an effort to encourage residents to support local businesses, Keep Chatham Thriving recently launched their Mother's Day 'Shop from Home' series," Michelle Lease, founder of Keep Chatham Thriving, said. "Shoppers are taken on a virtual tour of the Chatham stores to browse for gifts. Keep Chatham Thriving aimed to make it as easy as possible for people to shop from the comfort of their homes while supporting the downtown. It's a win/win for everyone as the shop owners have enjoyed welcoming the community into their stores 'virtually' and showcasing all of their great merchandise.
"It's also been well-received by residents, as they love having this type of platform to find the perfect gift locally while not having to leave their homes. The videos can be accessed on the Keep Chatham Thriving ‘Shop for Mother's Day Gifts’ page. Additional videos will be posted this week. Also, look for Mother’s Day restaurant takeout specials on the Keep Chatham Thriving Facebook page and website."
