CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Borough's health officer has reported that the borough had just one additional case of the Coronavirus confirmed over a five-day period.

That one case, covering May 8 through May 12, put Chatham's Borough's total of confirmed cases at 55.

Our Chatham Borough Health Officer was notified of one (1) additional resident that has tested positive (May 8 - 12) for the COVID-19 virus for a total of fifty-five (55) positive cases.

For patient confidentiality purposes, specific details will not be released. As is standard protocol, our health department is monitoring and investigating the cases including contact tracing and notifying appropriate parties. Self-quarantining protocols are in place.

As a reminder, residents should be, (including children) continuing our own social distancing and other guidelines to minimize community spread. We will continue to share information on this and other cases when appropriate.
