Chatham High School seniors celebrated the end of the school year and their upcoming graduation on Friday with a senior picnic at Noe Pond Club.

Following the senior awards ceremony held at CHS and yearbook distribution, seniors boarded buses from Cougar Field to the event, where they enjoyed a much deserved fun day in the sun.

Organized by the PTO with the help of senior parent volunteers, the event was supplied with barbecue-style refreshments and other amenities for the students. All facilities at Noe Pond Club were available for the day, with the exception of paddle tennis.

Along with swimming and sunbathing, “students can use the paddle boats or challenge each other on the log roll. Others choose to play tennis, basketball or ping pong,” senior class advisor Laura Scerbo said. “There is so much to do, and it is really one of the last times students can have fun together as members of the Class of 2019.”

The next time all of the 2019 seniors will be together is the senior prom next Friday, June 7th, followed by graduation on June 20th.
