Annesha Ghosh and Yekta Semani competed in the Newspaper Bridge event, where they placed third overall.
CHS also had two teams of two that weren’t able to attend that competed in the Pringles Package event. One of these teams was Ryan Storm and Steven Garcia, who placed third overall.
Five Chatham High School students and two teachers attended the event. The five students were Ethan Walker, Liam High, Michael Briganti, Annesha Ghosh, and Yekta Samani. The two teachers were Ben Lee and Dave Bandel.
CHS Physics teacher Dave Bandel said, “We attended the event short-handed with no expectation for the day or any particular event. Placing top three in three of the six events was a nice surprise. Placing third overall was an unexpected surprise.”
