CHATHAM, NJ - The School District of the Chathams will be holding two separate outdoor graduation ceremonies for the CHS Class of 2020 on July 8 at Cougar Field, according to Chatham Superintendent Michael LaSusa.

LaSusa confirmed the plans underway for 9 a.m. and 12-noon graduations at the regular meeting of the Chatham Board of Education held Monday night in the CHS cafeteria.

In order to conform with Gov. Phil Murphy's executive orders on outdoor gatherings, the two separate ceremonies will be held to accommodate the 500-person limit that is set to begin July 2.

LaSusa is not sure how the class will be divided into two groups, but said that the regular ceremony that is normally held will occur twice, with family in the stands and the Class of 2020 situated on Cougar Field.
