NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Prestige Diner launched a new $6 student menu from 3 to 5 p.m.so students have a healthier alternative to the vending machine.
The menu appeals to a range of tastes, including chicken fingers (with fries), mac & cheese bites, grilled cheese (with fries), cheeseburger deluxe (with fries), house or cesear salad (with grilled chicken), avocado toast (two slices), mozzarella sticks (with marinara sauce), as well as items from the bakery including bagel, muffin or cookie. All choices include soda, juice or milk too. Students, if they're really hungry, can take 15 percent off any regular menu item.
"In addition to some favorites, the student menu provides even more nutritious and lower-calorie menu items. And we are now serving Stubborn Soda with natural flavors and no artificial sweetener and no high fructose corn syrup,” said co-owner Jimmy Vardas.
Student gift cards can now be purchased that parents can load up and kids can use towards these student-priced menus for an after school snack in a place they can hang with their friends.
Prestige Diner, located at 1318 Springfield Avenue in New Providence, is well known for offering a vast menu served all day, and now includes even more variety for the health-conscious customers.
