The Girl Scouts are collecting items such as diapers, wipes, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, soap, face wash, cotton swabs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and hand sanitizers, all to be donated to Family Promise.
Collection boxes are set up at the Library of the Chathams and Purple Aardvark in Chatham until February 29th. There is also a collection box at Chatham Middle School, accepting donations from students until February 28. The 6th-grade Cadettes are grateful for any and all contributions.
You can also visit Scoops on Main Street and order the “Ultimate Thin Mint Sundae” created especially for this effort and available during the month of February. Scoops will be donating $1 from each sundae purchased to help the Scouts purchase products to add to their collection drive.
