To the Editor:
I am pleased to report that the 11th Annual Chatham Turkey Trot raised more than $30,000 attracting more than 1,000 runners. Over the past eleven years we have raised more than of $180,000 in support of our first responders and diabetes research and education befitting the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Diabetes Research Institute, the Chatham Emergency Squad and The Barton Center for Diabetes Education.
The Chatham Turkey Trot has become a family holiday tradition representing all that is great about the Chatham Township community. Each year it continues to grow as the Chatham community comes together to give thanks for all that we have and to raise funds for those dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of others.
We remain grateful for the support of our runners, sponsors, and volunteers and everyone the very best this holiday season and much success and happiness in the New Year! We hope to see you all for the 12th Annual Chatham Turkey Trot.
