CHATHAM, NJ - Good news!! (and bad news)

You don’t have to run 4 miles to get this year's Fishawack Run gear. The race is canceled due to Covid-19, however, the Jaycees and sponsors Brian Hart of Coldwell Banker and Dunkin of the Chathams (Main St and Shunpike locations) have teamed up to facilitate the sale of shirts in order to help support the local non-profits that still need our help.

The Fishawack Run is one of NJ's finest and longest-running traditions established in 1977. It normally takes place every year on the second Saturday of June starting and finishing at the Chatham train station. A true favorite of the serious runner and families with a 4-mile race and a 1-mile fun run.

Each year (now over 50 years) the proceeds from the Chatham Jaycees annual Fishawack Run and our annual Christmas tree sale benefit civic and charitable organizations in Chatham.

Past recipients from the Chatham Jaycees have included the following: Chatham Education Foundation, Chatham Emergency Squad, Chatham Fire Department, Chatham Community Garden, the ECLC, Chatham League of Women Voters, Chatham Community Band, Chatham Boy Scout Troops 8 & 28, Chatham Girl Scouts, Chatham Library, and Chatham Senior Services, as well as various PTO's, religious organizations and athletic clubs.

You can still help support great organizations AND get some great gear!
