The Senior Center of the Chathams received a generous donation from the proceeds of the Chatham Highlands Neighborhood Association's (HNA) Luminaria Event.
"We are very grateful to the Chatham HNA for their support of the Senior Center of the Chathams," said Julie Reich, Executive Director. "Their donation will go a long way toward helping us expand our range of programs and services."
The Senior Center of the Chathams is a 29-year-old independent 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization located at 58 Meyersville Road (lower level) in Chatham, NJ. The Senior Center encourages the independence and well-being of seniors in the greater Chatham area by connecting them with each other and the community at large — and helps older adults age in place by providing a wide array of activities and services that educate, empower, and promote community engagement.
There is no membership fee. Many programs are offered free of charge, while others involve only a minimal charge thanks to individual donations, grants, and fundraising events. Center hours are Mondays through Fridays, 9:15 am-3:00 pm. For more information, call 973.635.4565 or visit chathamseniorcenter.org.
