CHATHAM, NJ - The Borough of Chatham Council will be voting on a resolution that will authorize the tax collector to issue "estimated" third-quarter taxes that are due Aug. 1 at its virtual meeting set for 6 p.m. Monday, May 11.

The Coronavirus pandemic has delayed the adoption of the state budget until Sept. 30, 2020, suspending the certification of state aid to municipalities. The Division of Local Government Services "strongly recommends" estimated tax bills be issued during the delay.
