CHATHAM, NJ - As part of the easing of restrictions for restaurants and eateries now that the spread of Coronavirus has decreased, the Borough of Chatham Council will consider a resolution to waive the fees for "Sidewalk Dining Licenses" for the rest of 2020 at its meeting set for Monday evening.

NOTICE OF VIRTUAL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Chatham will hold its Regular Meeting virtually on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. (instead of 7:30 p.m.), Borough Hall – Council Chambers, 54 Fairmount Avenue, Chatham, New Jersey. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, measures were taken by the State of New Jersey to limit the spread of the virus via Executive Order No. 107 and through the Emergency Legislation by New Jersey State Legislature permitting public bodies to conduct meetings, and to provide notice via electronic means during periods of emergency. In support of the state’s measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Borough Council, supporting staff and the public will participate in a virtual meeting on June 8, 2020 to ensure the safety of all. The public may participate by dialing 929-205-6099 (Meeting ID: 859-1372-3739) or obtain online access of the meeting using the following URL: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85913723739 to make a public comment. The Mayor and Council meeting will be televised as usual. This measure is being taken out of precaution for the safety of all.
