CHATHAM, NJ - Len Resto returned to the Borough of Chatham Council on Monday night when he was appointed to fill the final year of the unexpired term of current Chatham Borough Mayor Thaddeus Kobylarz.

Resto, who lost his re-election bid to the council in 2018 as a member of the Republican ticket, had publicly endorsed the Democratic team of Kobylarz, and new council members Karen Koronkiewicz and Irene Treloar in the 2019 race.

Resto (see video below) was selected over the other nominees for the position, former mayor Nicholas Eck and Jonathan Wilcox.
