Wider Sidewalk Part of Chatham Borough Plan for Liberty Park

CHATHAM, NJ - "Phase 2" of the refurbishment of Liberty Park, which includes plans for an eight-foot wide sidewalk, was presented by Vincent DeNave, borough engineer, on Monday night at the Borough of Chatham Council meeting.

Phase 1 had been to clean up the small park and install new fencing along Day's Brook at the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Main Street.

Chatham Borough Seeks "Sustainable Jersey" Grant for Kelley's Pond; New Sunday Liquor Sale Time Adopted

CHATHAM, NJ - The Borough of Chatham Council authorized an application for $20,000 in "Sustainable Jersey" grant funds that would go toward improving the condition of Kelley's Pond at its regular meeting on Monday night.
