The first Earth Day celebration on April 22, 1970, brought together environmental activists demanding cleaner water, air and soil. Those issues still absorb us today. While we are on our COVID-19 induced “pause” we are still finding ways to celebrate our earth and protect our environment.

While we cannot gather together in public, we can gather together in spirit. We are asking the public to keep a diary during Earth Week, beginning today through Saturday, April 25th and share the actions you are taking to protect and preserve our shared spaces. These activities will be posted on the Chatham Borough Environmental Commission’s social media accounts, Facebook: Chatham Borough Environmental Commission Instagram: sustainablechatham
Twitter: ChathamNJEnviro

On Wednesday, April 22nd we invite you to join the ANJEC Film Viewing and Discussion:
