CHATHAM, NJ - The Library of the Chathams is offering to deliver materials so that Chatham residents can join the "1,000 Masks Challenge" by making masks for front-line workers during the Coronavirus pandemic.

You will need tightly woven cotton material, thread and elastic.  To request materials, send an email to masks@chathamlibrary.org or phone us at 862-246-6108.

Here’s a process that will enable you to make at least 5 masks within an hour!

  1. Make a pattern from a paper bag 9.5″ by 6.5″ for an adult.
  2. Stack fabric up to 5 at a time depending on your scissor and cut to pattern.
