MADISON, NJ - Chatham took first place in both the distance medley and the 4x800 relays at the Morris County Frosh/Soph Relays held Saturday at Drew University.

Chatham's distance medley team of Sam Ellis, Jack Tapper, Ryan Beegle and Jake Fortuna clocked 11:32.26 in placing first.

Tapper and Ellis also ran on the Chatham winning 4x800 relay, along with Patrick Grosso and Alex Krack with a time of 9:11.28.

Chatham medal-winning teams:

Shuttle Hurdles:  2nd place:  F/S combined:  39.86;  Jackson Koury, Akash Gandhi, Jacob Hodapp, and Winston Roos.Frosh 4x200: 3rd Place: 1:50.23; Julian Lee, Ryan Arias, Chris McNiff, and Patrick Adler.

Soph 4x200:  3rd Place; 1:43.94: Jack Davenport, Nyle Sabih, Jackson Koury, and Steve Hofheinz.

Frosh 4x400;  3rd Place; 4:16.38; Ryan Beegle, Julian Lee, Chris McNiff, Harrison Garman.

Frosh Shot Put:  5th Place; 58 feet, 10 inches:  David Ruggiero and Michael Arens.

In the high jump, Jackson Koury set a personal record by clearning 5 feet, 6 inches.
