RANDOLPH, NJ - Eight Chatham boy fencers went undefeated as the Cougars won their sixth conference match with a 19-8 decision over Randolph on Friday.

Preston Yen, Henry Epstein, P.J. Henwood, Liam Kaplan, Jacob Mahon, Nate Eck, Jayden Halkiopoulus, and Ahmer Khan all went undefeated for Chatham, the only undefeated boys team left in the NJAC.

Round one score: Chatham 6, Randolph 3 (Sabres 3-0, Foils 2-1, Epees 1-2)
Preston Yen, Henry Epstein, and Sophomore PJ Henwood posted a round one sabre sweep. Foils Jacob Mahon and Nate Eck added a pair of foil wins. Randolph took the third foil bout and the first two epee bouts. Epee Ahmer Khan reeled in his bout for the first round.

Round two score: Chatham 6, Randolph 3 (Sabres 2-1, Foils 2-1, Epees 2-1)
Sabres Yen and Epstein won their second round bouts 5-1 and 5-0 respectively, while Randolph took the third bout. Foils Mahon and Eck added another two foil wins, while Randolph took the third foil bout. Michael Dwyer and Khan-A added a pair of epee wins to the Chatham column.

Round three score: Chatham 7, Randolph 2 (Sabres 3-0, Foils 2-1, Epees 2-1) Final Score 19-8
Yen and Epstein finished off their 3-0 records for the night clinching the meet for Chatham. Liam Kaplan added a third win for a round three squad sweep. Foil Jayden Halkiopolus stepped in for a 5-0 shutout. Eck added his third win for the night. Randolph took the third foil bout and the first epee bout. Dwyer tipped a tied bout his way and Khan-A wrapped up the night with a 5-1 victory.

Chatham will hold its final NJAC home meet of the season when they host the Kinnelon Colts for Chatham's "Senior Night" on Thursday, Jan. 30. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., fencing starts at 7 p.m.
