This Saturday and Sunday several Chatham team fencers will be participating in the American Challenge tournament.
This year is the first time the event will be held in Drew University's Simon Forum. The event is being reported by USA Fencing as the largest Regional Open Circuit (ROC) event in American history with 955 unique fencers. More than half of the fencers will be competing in multiple categories.

Sabres: Nylah Haq, Henry Epstein, Vincent Hong, Preston Yen, Sara Fidler, Kat Xikes, Kailing Sathyanath, Coach Duffey
The team will hold their preseason information meeting on Wednesday, October 16th, at 7 PM, at Chatham HS. Experience is not required. Classes for students new to fencing are available on October 9th. The team is also looking for students to participate as videographers or armorer.
