BRONX, N.Y. - Freshman Lauren Davis led the way for the Chatham JV girls cross-country team, which gained seventh place out of 23 teams competing at the Manhattan Invitational on Saturday. Ally Franz led Chatham in the varsity race with a time of 17:14.

Davis ran 17:52 over the 2.5-mile course to place 24th in the race. The Cougar JVs averaged 18:41. Chatham's top seven all earned medals.
