CHATHAM, NJ - Cole Ekert led a contingent of Chatham boys golfers who earned NJAC all-conference honors this year.

Ekert was named first-team all-conference and his Cougar teammates Joe Polverino, Will Ethridge and Timmy Triano were named to the all-conference second team. Liam Bourke received honorable mention. Chatham won the NJAC with a 9-2 mark in competition with Mendham, Delbarton, Morristown, and Montville.

Ekert set a Chatham school record with a 36.3 nine-hole average, which also represented the lowest average of any golfer in the NJAC this season. Ekert shot 32 twice over nine holes this year.

In his banner season, Ekert also led Chatham to the Morris County Tournament Championship. Chatham won a Group 3 state sectional championship, with Ekert winning individual state sectional honors by carding an even-par 70.
