SUCCASUNNA, NJ - Defender Olivia Garman came forward to head in a corner kick by Grace Van Sciver in the 55th minute, lifting Chatham to a 1-0 girls soccer win over Roxbury on Thursday.

Goalie Callie Snyder made eight saves to secure her fifth shutout of the season for Chatham (8-2), which has a total of six shutouts as a team this season.

"The girls really stepped up in the second half and played some fantastic football," Chatham coach Gary Adair said. "We are hoping to keep the momentum going into what will be a very tough MCT game on Sunday vs Jefferson."
